Uyghur Development Projects

Uyghur NextGen uses nearly 100% of its funding to provide direct support for Uyghur-run development projects both in the United States and internationally. These projects bring together Uyghur diaspora communities to educate and empower Uyghur youth ensuring a better future for the next generation. While much of our domestic volunteer work focuses on our advocacy and education missions, our U.S.-based team dedicates a substantial portion of its time to remotely overseeing these development projects, providing technical support with accounting, web operations, and donor outreach. We work to ensure that our efforts are both transparent and efficient so that every bit of your support is amplified in its impact.

  • Boxing Club

Palwan Boxing Club is centered around training Uyghur youth in the sport of boxing and in self-defense skills. The club operates three classes a month for Uyghur boys and girls.

  • Youth Empowerment

The Palwan Youth Empowerment program combines academic classes with one on one mentorship. Students engage in peer-led leadership and team-building activities.
